Nora was four months old last week, which meant a weight check (12 lbs 13 ounces - and her wittle bitty head grew a whole inch in just two months!) and (ouch!) vaccinations. She howled for a coupla seconds (who wouldn't?) but was amazingly brave, settling to a crabby whimper pretty much right after mama swept her up from the Table of Torture. That, followed by a day with a low-grade fever (hello, antibodies!), and you'd think she'd be all out of sorts. But nah. Our super girl is verrrry busy trying to figure out this crawling thing. It's a little ways off - but there's a whole lotta belly-rocking going on.
(Oh! And one other thing! Doctor Bonnie has confirmed that our girl will keep the blue eyes. Dark blue! We hear rumors there was a great great grandpa who had 'em, so that's where the recessive gene comes in on her mama's side. Skipped five generations of expression, but thanks to daddy's light blue peepers, there you go.)
Viewer Discretion is Advised: If you're sensitive to the sight of a little drool, skip the video. Cuz, um, she's a baby. She does that.
