The Binky Fairy Cometh

Hear that? It's the sound of tiny, silver bells on the toes of a wee sprite, coming to whisk away a binky. Nora drives a hard bargain. After many low-pressure conversations about binkies, and how maybe Nora could send hers (via fairy) to a baby who needs one ... she agreed that one binky could go. The white one, specifically. And for that, a big girl bed should be left as payment. Well, fine.

Now, the enactment -- she has wrapped a binky in pink tissue, covered the package in glitter, and left it with a note:

"Dear Binky Fairy,

I love you and I want to see you. Please take this binky and give it to the babies who need them, because I don't need it anymore. But I still need the extra binkies. Love, Nora."

So the white binky will be gone. And in its place, an allen-wrenched tribute to sacrifice and growing up.

The video quality is absolutely awful, but the sound is clear, so you can hear her explain the situation. Question: if she gets furnishings in exchange for one binky, what does she get in exchange for the last two?

This is the greatest little video. I love how she kisses the binky at the end. I was waiting to see her pop it in her mouth. Nora, you are a delight.
