"I love you guys."

She was in my arms (getting so much bigger, now). Dada had just arrived home from work, and she reached out to him.

"Dada, come here."

One arm around my neck, the other around his.

"Closer, guys. Even closer!" [giggle]

"OK, guys? This is the truth." [dramatic pause]

"I really love you guys."

And we melted into a puddle of adorable lovey dovey and awe.
