Food, Glorious Food!

The Scene: 7:30am, cozy family Sunday. The dining table is clear of clutter for once, and a rectangle of light angles in from the east window. A high chair, straight from the box and immaculate, sits pulled up to the table at one corner, and a ramiken on the tray holds some pale goop. A small spoon rests adjacent. The coffee pot hisses from the other room.

The Characters: Daddy, in flannel PJs, mucks about with a tripod and camera. Mama, hair mussed, coos and wrestles Baby (who is grinning through chubby cheeks, kicky-footed) into the high chair.

Nora has her first mouthful of "solid" food ... Take One. Action!



She likes it. No ... she loves it.
