No, we didn't lose her. Although she does dash in and out of rooms, looping in crazy figure eights all through the house, all day long. We hear "The Flight of the Bumblebee" in our heads, just watching her.
But more than that, we're ready to say that Nora is officially a toddler, now. Not just because she's toddling, but because she's so much a little girl, talking and giggling and dancing and directing us around the house. Cuddling her "babies" and choosing favorites. Flinging herself into every moment with so much intention and joy.
Mama, especially, is hanging on to the last few threads of babyhood ... the sweet morning cuddle and the rocking before bed ... we can pretend, for awhile longer, that we have a baby in the house. But the little girl has arrived.
And on that note, we'll mark this occasion by updating the subtitle on this blog. Sniff.

Nora,
We heart you! Cannot wait to meet you some day. Drew and I have some serious dance moves to show you. Bring along that new cousin of yours Owen and we will have ourselves a par-tay.
