"Peasants"

Er, presents, really. But as Nora says, "Nora hazza suh-piiize? Peasants!"

Catching up from the birthday festivities, we thought we'd share Nora's Very Exciting Gift. Mama got it into her head to make a play kitchen FROM SCRATCH. Fer crying out loud. She provided most of the pieces and the concept ... but soon turned her fluttering eyelashes toward Poppy for help. It quickly became a family effort - contributions came in the form of time, creativity, parts, cash, and a grandparents' adventure to a darkened, cobwebby, used parts shop manned by Igor's biggest cousin. And the result is just ... WOW. Perhaps the coolest play kitchen on the planet (and for anyone wondering, it came to about $85 and a few long evenings).

A big, big thank you to Poppy for making it happen, and to everyone else for the enthusiasm and effort! The pictures really don't do it justice.
