The results of Nora's two-year well-child visit are in!
Height: somewhere between 32.5 and 34 inches. She was wriggly.
Weight: 22.4 pounds
Head circumference: 19 cm
She's perfectly healthy, highly verbal, fantastic motor skills, "just great!" according to Dr. B. She's still petite, at only the 5th percentile. Her height is in the 58th percentile - just above average for kids her age. Her head is big! Bobble-head Nora!
She didn't cry during her Hep A vaccination, but the blood draw was another story. She sat on mama's lap, and when the two big people came over, got down in her face, held down her arm, and made cooing noises while slapping on an elastic band and waving around a big needle, she turned her head to the side and said, "Mama? Mama. Mama! Mama mama mamamamamAMAMAMAMAMA!" and the tears boiled over. She was so, so courageous and good! Mama, on the other hand, heard the guy tech mutter "Looks like I got a good one," and it was all she could do to keep from decking him.
In other news - the beloved Dr. B is retiring! This is the woman who caught Nora when she flew into the world, so we're very sad to see her go.
