A playdate with Adi today -- and just in time. Cabin fever has set in and the couch cushions can hardly take anymore.
But what on earth to keep girl-child warm? It's rain here, usually. We have slickers and frog boots, but not much that's warmer. In the nick of time, mama remembered a hand-me-down (thanks, Bonnie!), passed on before Nora was born, grown so large in mama's memory that she couldn't believe it would fit ... but she wandered to the cellar anyway, and not only was the snowsuit sitting at the very top of a pile -- it was a 2T! Perfection.
We're getting some extreme weather here - inches and inches of snow, then a layer of freezing rain, then more snow.
Nora is still light enough that she can walk across the frosty top layer without breaking through. She can even sliiiiide down the small icy hills!
