- 4/18/10: After brushing her teeth: "Mama, our tongue is the rug of our mouth!" (As opposed to the roof of our mouth, I imagine.)
- 12/24/09: "What does 'real' mean?" ... "What does 'alive' mean?"
- 12/8/09: "Where is the middle of the air?"
- 10/21/09: She's busily painting a birdhouse, and I speak to her. She says, "Mama, I'm unavailable right now."
- 10/8/09: "Some cats are kinda old, and cranky. And some cats are good for roasting."
- 10/1/09: "Mama, you're as strong as a tornado. And pretty!"

Hey, Nora and I have something in common! I've been looking and looking and aside from the odd drool, hic-up, burp and goofy grin it seemed that I would have to wait in vain. See, Harry Potter really is the great equalizer. :)

If my kids don't love Harry Potter, I really don't know what I am going to do! I have read 1-6 multiple times and I am sure I will read them all many times over again. I just hope they enjoy it as much as I do (once they are old enough, of course)
