12-Month Checkup

Ahhh, the growth charts. Upward trajectories are beautiful things! And a certain baby we know gained an entire inch and a half in just one month. She didn't gain any weight, but that's probably because she's crawling and cruising all. the. time. And because, well, that's what Nora does. She stays firmly in the 4th percentile. Current stats are:

weight: 17.4 pounds
height: 29.5 inches
noggin: 18 inches even

She got a clean bill of health, other than the neverending gnarly cold that started right after her first week of daycare. Huh. Think there's a connection? Immune system, immune system ... this is our mantra. When it's 2:00 a.m. and we're administering Benadryl (to Nora - not us). Again.

In other news, Nora just started holding out pieces of her snack for mama to "share," which of course makes mama's heart swell up. Who knew that such joy could arise from a soggy piece of rice cake?
