It's a Party!

Happy Birthday, Nora! It was a lovely party - we drank punch out of your great great great Aunt Nellie's tea set and ate all of your favorite foods (mozzarella, crackers, peaches, blueberries, and special tea sandwiches from your handsome friend, Andy), while you played with Adi, oogled at the balloons, meticulously ripped colorful tissue paper into teeny tiny pieces, examined your pretty gifts (including some special packages all the way from Australia!), and analyzed a tower of vanilla frosting with your usual critical gaze. You didn't like it, by the way. You didn't even really want to touch it, and then you spit it out. The cupcake part was okay, but you really liked the crackers better. Go figure. You wore a dress that was mama's way back when, and charmed all your guests. We can't believe what a big girl you are!
