The omnipresent skinned knee is a hallmark of childhood—right up there with popsicle-stained lips, hands that smell of Elmer's glue, and an abiding love of puppies. Nora's had her fair share of boo-boos since she took off on two feet, but they've become bloodier as of late. Is "First Band-Aid" a milestone? Eh, why not. Cute, pink kitties on a cute, pink knee.
