Nora's school hosted a May Faire recently, and we made it out alive with a paper crown (still being worn frequently) and a chocolate cupcake ("with sprinklies").
Seriously, Mama has discovered a deep weakness in herself. Nearly crippling overwhelm in the face of a backyard packed elbow-to-elbow with small children and infant-toting parents, treat tables and facepainting stands and craft stations and every possibility that a child could go missing in an instant.
It was a preschool May Faire, but it felt like a stadium rock concert to some of us.
Unsure what Nora's impressions were. She did not like the puppet show (too loud) and was pretty shy the whole time. The cupcake was good, though.
