FBFFs?*

Lately, Adi's name is one of the first to spring from Nora's lips in the morning. Recent playdates have cemented her slightly-older cousin into her mind. From today, for example, Adi's signature "Noodle" slide trick has made a big impression (fully reclined at the top of the slide, body limp, a little scootch from the heels and floooooooo--ooop! The noodley body glides down). After a morning visit from her favorite fellow girlchild, Nora spent a good part of the afternoon practicing this move, reciting "Adi Adi Adi" along the way.

Giggles emanate from inside a blanketed fort ... tests of will over tea set allocations ensue ... "icicles" are slurped up on a stupidly-chilly (it's July, for crying out loud!) morning. Say, say, o playmate ...
